Renovation Update – Main Building

Renovation work in the Main Building is taking longer than expected due to delays with the construction team. As a result, some projects will still be ongoing at the start of the new semester. Here’s what you can expect in the coming weeks:

Seminar rooms 301, 303, 305, 307, 309 are being fully refurbished with new lighting, ventilation and air conditioning, fresh paint, and new furniture. Unfortunately, due to delays on the contractor’s side, the work wasn’t finished before classes started. The rooms are expected to be ready by 22 September. In the meantime, courses scheduled in these rooms are being moved to other classrooms. Please check Neptun regularly for the latest room information.

Regarding the plumbing riser, tiling and installation are still underway, affecting the west side restrooms on the ground floor and on floors 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Their completion is expected by the end of September. In the meantime, all other restrooms on the floors remain open and usable.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. To ensure classes can go ahead without disruption, we are in regular contact with colleagues from Educational Management and are doing everything we can to make sure the contractor completes the work as soon as possible.
