Build your international career with CEMS MIM!
The CEMS Master’s in International Management (CEMS MIM) is a one-year international programme available exclusively at Corvinus in Hungary. The CEMS network brings together leading business schools and universities from around the world, as well as international companies and social partners, combining academic studies with practical and international experience.
What can CEMS offer you?
One of the key elements of the programme is the mandatory semester abroad: you will spend one semester at one of the partner universities within the CEMS network. You can also take part in corporate programmes and skills development activities, gain international professional experience and start building connections within the global CEMS community while you are still studying.
The CEMS experience does not end with graduation: as a graduate, you will also become part of the international CEMS alumni network.
Who can apply?
The CEMS MIM programme is open to students enrolled in selected Master’s programmes at Corvinus. One of the basic application requirements is a minimum Bachelor’s degree grade of 3.5, as well as the required level of English language proficiency.
If your Bachelor’s degree is not in a business-related field, you must have completed at least 60 ECTS credits in business studies.
Students from several Hungarian- and English-language Master’s programmes at Corvinus can join the programme, so make sure to check whether your programme is among those eligible before applying.
How does the application process work?
The selection process is about more than just your academic results. Your language skills, motivation, as well as your professional and extracurricular experience may also play a role.
As part of your application, you will need to submit a motivation video of up to two minutes, in which you can explain:
- Why you would like to join CEMS;
- What experience you would bring to the programme;
- What you hope to achieve through the programme.
You can also take part in the traditional selection process or choose the Assessment Centre, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills through a range of individual and group exercises.

Choosing a partner university
During the application process, you can also indicate which CEMS partner universities you would prefer for your semester abroad. It is worth exploring the available options early and checking the relevant language requirements, as some partner universities may have stricter requirements than the general CEMS criteria.
Please note that admission to the CEMS programme does not automatically include a mobility scholarship. The funding available through the student scholarship program and its disbursement are conditional until the institutional Erasmus grant is received.
