Elite Athletes at Corvinus: How to Balance Gold Medals with a University Degree?
Competing in the Olympics and standing on the podium at domestic and international competitions is a great honour. At the same time, being a top athlete involves many challenges and compromises. In this dialogue, we seek to explore how sports and university education can be balanced, as well as the challenges and potential synergies of completing a university education alongside a career in elite sports.
Join us and listen to our student Olympians, who are already successfully pursuing a “dual career”! Ádám Büki, István Péni, and Sára Bácskai will share their personal experiences and explain how they managed to balance international competitions with their studies at Corvinus. The discussion is particularly timely given that Corvinus will launch an English-language Master’s program in International Sports Business in September 2026.
