The Designer of the Corvinus Green Campus Received Recognition

The OMÉN-2025 design competition has concluded, where Gábor Bártfai achieved third place.

Applicants submitted preliminary materials, selected designs, and design sheets, which were evaluated using a weighted scoring system. 

  1. The building’s uniqueness, size, prestige – 20% 

  1. The originality and novelty of the solutions used in the design, as well as the implementation of sustainability aspects – 30% 

  1. The complexity and suitability of the building engineering systems – 30% 

  1. Special solutions resulting from the building’s configuration (e.g., in cases of monuments, reconstruction/extension) – 5% 

  1. The quality, clarity, information content, and elaboration of the submitted materials and plans – 5% 

  1. Quality of the presentation – 10% 

A total of eight entries were submitted. 

The results:

  1. ONKO Diagnostic Centerdesigner: Bernát Nagy 

Library of the Headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciencesdesigner: Szilárd Szakál 

  1. CORVINUS GREEN Campus – designer: Gábor Bártfai
