Join the Global FECS programme in 2027

The Financial Economics of Climate and Sustainability (FECS) is a collaborative international doctoral reading group hosted by the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University and organised by Peter Tufano. Last year, the online programme brought together researchers from 166 universities, research institutes and government bodies worldwide.
The programme runs weekly during the spring semester for 12 weeks, with two-hour core sessions led by an international faculty of leading researchers in finance, economics and sustainability. The 2027 programme will be announced soon, with topics expected to range from climate and finance theory, disclosure and asset pricing to sustainable investing, corporate finance, banking and insurance, nature and biodiversity, and household finance.
Corvinus University of Budapest will participate in FECS for the third year, offering its own local reading group. Doctoral students, faculty members and post-docs at Corvinus with a relevant background in finance, economics or accounting and an interest in advancing research in climate finance are welcome to join.
Participation offers members of the Corvinus research community an opportunity to engage with current climate finance research, take part in discussions alongside the international FECS programme and connect these sessions with a local academic community at Corvinus.
Those interested in participating in the Corvinus FECS group can find further information and register through the local convener page. The local convener at Corvinus is Helena Naffa from the Sustainable Finance Research Group.
