Corvinus University of Budapest joins QS’ global Responsible AI Consortium

Launched by higher education experts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, in collaboration with founding members Imperial Business School, EDHEC, and Luiss Business School, the initiative aims to advance the responsible use and development of AI in higher education through a global network of world-leading institutions. Corvinus University of Budapest became a member of RAIC on 18 February 2026.
“Joining the Responsible AI Consortium reflects Corvinus University of Budapest’s role as a bridge between academic thinking and real-world economic and societal challenges. We see responsible AI not only as a technological issue, but as a question of values, governance and impact – areas where business and social sciences have a crucial contribution to make” – says Bruno van Pottelsberghe, rector of Corvinus University of Budapest.
The Responsible AI Consortium provides universities and business schools worldwide with a forum to integrate and advance AI in higher education through AI Capability assessment, project-based experiential learning, collaborative research, and a sandbox environment for piloting new technologies. Meanwhile, Working and Discovery Groups led by RAIC faculty are becoming central drivers of research, innovation, and synergy around cutting-edge topics.
