Corvinus University joins the RRBM global research network as an institutional partner

The new partnership reinforces the university’s commitment to responsible, socially relevant research.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Corvinus University of Budapest was the first among Hungarian higher education institutions to join the institutional partners of the Responsible Research in Business and Management international community. The global RRBM initiative aims to strengthen a research culture in the fields of business and management that is both scientifically rigorous and capable of providing real answers to today’s societal challenges—from ethical decision-making to sustainability and the promotion of the common good.

Corvinus’ joining aligns well with the goals set out in its Bridge Strategy, which aim to connect academic excellence with socio-economic impact while strengthening the university’s role in the flow of knowledge both domestically and internationally. In line with this, Corvinus University of Budapest has long been building the educational and research foundations of responsible business studies in accordance with the PRME framework and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

RRBM membership further strengthens this direction: the partnership not only enhances the international visibility of Corvinus but also offers tangible opportunities for its faculty and researchers. Within the RRBM network, numerous funding and collaboration opportunities are available, enabling Corvinus staff to engage in international research projects and actively shape the future of responsible management research. The University actively encourages its colleagues to take advantage of these opportunities.
