Corvinus lecturers at the 63. Economists’ Conference
The 63. Economists’ Conference was held at the University of Pannonia in Veszprém, with nearly 700 participants attending the events in front of a full house. During the two-day conference, around 100 speakers gave presentations and took part in roundtable discussions.
Several renowned experts affiliated with Corvinus University of Budapest also shared their thoughts with the audience at the event.
Péter Ákos Bod, professor at Corvinus University, doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and vice president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, analyzed the main features of Hungarian economic policy.

Attila Chikán, professor emeritus at Corvinus University, former rector and former Minister of Economy, gave an introductory lecture on the corporate perspective of supply chains and then participated in a roundtable discussion. This section was chaired by Miklós Kozma, associate professor, MBA academic program director at Corvinus University of Budapest, and president of the Industrial and Entrepreneurship Section of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Tünde Tátrai, professor at the Corvinus Department of Supply Chain Management, also contributed to the topic of supply chains.

Mária Csutora, director of the Corvinus Sustainability Indicators Research Center and chair of the MKT Environmental Economics Section, chaired the section on environmental policy challenges and opportunities in the Trump era.

Zsolt Darvas, researcher at Corvinus University and expert at the Bruegel Institute in Brussels, presented his views in the debate on the future budgetary framework of the European Union.
