Report on the DSG Faculty Meeting: Passau, July 1-3, 2025

Since 1993, Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of Passau have successfully cooperated within the framework of the German-language Business and Economics (DSG) program at the bachelor’s level. In 2016/17, the partnership was expanded to include a double degree master’s program, allowing students to obtain two master’s degrees within four semesters.
Key takeaway from this year’s meeting:
The German-language Management Training Program (DSG) is no longer a separate degree program at Corvinus but has been successfully integrated into eight different management bachelor’s programs. Students can now choose whether to complete their required courses in Hungarian, English, or German. This integration brings transparency and flexibility and represents a major academic and structural achievement.
The DSG Program is a flagship project of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and a best-practice example of long-term, impactful academic cooperation in Europe.
