This year, as has become customary, the MEFOB swimming competition was held in Gödöllő. Corvinus University of Budapest entered 21 competitors, which is more than last year. The organizers‘ goal of giving more amateur competitors the opportunity to participate was evident in the number of participating teams. In addition to Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship students, students attending physical education classes also signed up and competed in our team. In a very strong field, the team ultimately finished in fourth place overall. Our relay teams had already hinted at this, as both the women’s 4×100 medley relay and the 10×50 institutional relay finished in fourth place, just 4-5 hundredths of a second behind. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side this year. However, the team performed excellently overall in both the amateur and professional categories, with many individual records being set.
