Marcell Béli joins the Sustainable Finance Research Centre as Scientific Innovation Manager. He is a Corvinus alumnus, having completed his Finance Master’s here, and he returns regularly to lecture and examine. 

Marcell spent over a decade at the intersection of financial risk and technology: market risk and margining at KELER CCP, then eight years at FX Software, most recently as Head of Product Management leading the roughly 40-person team behind the InFoRex treasury system. He is a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM™) and has published on margining methodology, automated stress testing and the equity risk premium. Alongside his research work, he is co-founder and CEO of FX HR Solutions, the company behind Inform, a performance-management platform for managers. 

Outside of work, Marcell comes from the Tokaj region and still spends as much time there as he can. He collects coins, has dabbled in genealogy, is a committed Queen fan, and for several years drove a 1966 Mustang. 

Éva Vaskuti, PhD is a biologist, environmental researcher and project manager. She works as Scientific Operations Manager at the Sustainable Finance Research Centre of Corvinus University of Budapest, where she supports the Centre’s research and project activities. 

She holds a PhD in Biology from Eötvös Loránd University. Her research focused on behavioural ecology, bioacoustics, and the cultural evolution of birdsong. Before joining Corvinus, she worked at Central European University as a Research and Teaching Assistant to IPCC Vice-Chair, Prof. Diana Ürge-Vorsatz. 

Éva has extensive experience in EU-funded environmental projects. At the Hungarian National Development Agency, she managed major environmental investments funded through ISPA and the Cohesion Fund and later worked with nature conservation projects under the Environment and Energy Operational Programme. At KÖVET Association, she managed an EU LIFE project on climate adaptation and worked on carbon foot printing and corporate sustainability. 

Her professional experience includes biodiversity research, climate change, environmental policy, EU project management, and science communication. 

Antónia Schmidt is a third-year undergraduate student at the Corvinus University of Budapest, where she is currently studying business and management. In addition to her work at the Sustainable Finance Research Centre, she is also a teaching assistant at the university. Antonia is a hard-working, cheerful person who loves to be challenged and take on new tasks.
