Being a CEMS student means being a part of a new, global community

If you’re thinking about applying to the CEMS Programme but haven’t taken the step yet, take the plunge.

Joining CEMS isn’t only about enrolling in a prestigious international programme, it’s also about finding yourself amongst like-minded, ambitious and supportive people.

You may have already heard the saying: “Once a CEMSie, always a CEMSie.” If you’ve ever wondered what that really means, it’s simple. The friendships, the network and the opportunities don’t end when you finish the programme. They stay with you long after graduation.

There are plenty of events and experiences that bring the community together, both in Hungary and abroad. Here’s a taste of what you can expect when you become part of this global family.

Local Highlights

  • Welcome Camp: Your CEMS journey starts with a welcome week where students get to know each other and the city. During the welcome camp you can have fun and start to get to know some CEMS Corporate partners and alumni as well. See how this year’s welcome events were.

  • CEMS Reunion. Students from across Europe gather in Budapest for sightseeing, networking and a memorable boat party.

  • Running Cocktails, Game Nights and the Christmas Ball. From cosy board-game evenings to festive celebrations, social events keep the community close throughout the year.

Professional and Networking Experiences

  • Alumni Dinner and Rotation Dinner. Meet former CEMSies, hear their career stories and make connections that can guide your own path.

  • Corporate Visits. Explore the MOL Tower, learn from P&G experts or join Mastercard’s inspiring Women’s Brunch. Each visit gives you a closer look at the professional world behind the scenes.

  • Alumni Mentor Programme. Get personalised advice from experienced graduates who understand exactly where you’re heading.

CEMS and sustainability

Whether you’re joining a plogging challenge, watching a documentary with the Sustainability Film Club or trying vegan meals as a group, you’ll find opportunities to make meaningful choices and learn more about responsible living.

International Adventures

The CEMS experience extends far beyond borders. You can take part in the CEMS Career Forum, one of the biggest recruitment events in the network, or join regional forums such as the V4, Nordic, DACH or Marenostrum. Each brings students, companies and universities together for skill seminars, workshops, interviews and cultural experiences.

And of course, last but not least, there’s the CEMS Case Cup, hosted by CEMS Club Budapest. A fantastic chance to challenge yourself and collaborate with peers from across the world.

Apply now through the university’s CEMS page and say yes to: “Two Degrees, Leading Business Schools, Zero Tuition Fee!”
