Autumn break is almost here – what to expect?

This year, the autumn break will take place between 23 October and 2 November. Here’s a quick overview of the most important information about building opening times and other practical details.

Building opening hours during the break

Main Building and the Salt House: closed throughout the entire break.

Gellért Campus: open only on 18 October (Saturday) and 30–31 October (Thursday–Friday).

Building C: open every day except on Sundays and public holidays (23–24 October and 1 November)

Cafeterias and vending machines

In the E Building and Gellért Campus, cafeterias and vending machines will be closed.

The Building C cafeteria will be open with reduced hours on 27–31 October, 9:00–15:00.

Other information

Minor renovation and maintenance work will take place during the break therefore, closed buildings cannot be accessed.

Central heating has started in the university buildings and dormitories.
