Katalin Ásványi awarded CEEMAN Champions Award 2026

The Dean for Sustainability at Corvinus University has been named Responsible Management Educator of the Year.

In 2026, CEEMAN, the international management development association, honored Katalin Ásványi, Dean for Sustainability at Corvinus and Head of the Department of Sustainability Management and Environmental Economics, for her outstanding work in responsible management education. 

The CEEMAN Champions Awards recognize the most outstanding achievements of leading business schools and universities in emerging economies across four main categories: Teaching, Research, Institutional Management, and Responsible Management Education. 

The award recognizes Katalin Ásványi’s outstanding leadership and teaching, through which she integrates sustainability, ethics, and responsible management into business education. Her accomplishments include pioneering innovative pedagogical approaches such as community-engaged and challenge-based learning, as well as establishing the AI & Sustainability Lab to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainability education.
