The application supports students participating in short-term study mobility abroad. Successful applicants can receive a scholarship providing a daily subsistence allowance for: 

• Study programmes abroad, 

• Summer universities, 

• Intensive courses, 

• Study trips, 

• Professional events, 

• Academic competitions or active participation in conferences. 

Duration: Minimum 2, maximum 30 days (the mobility must be completed by 31 August 2027 at the latest). 

Scholarship amount: Between HUF 7,500 and HUF 30,000 per day, depending on the destination country and the duration of the mobility. 

Who can apply? 

Applications are open to full-time students of Corvinus University of Budapest: 

• Bachelor’s and undivided programmes: after completing at least one semester. 

• Master’s programmes: from the first semester. 

Eligibility requirements 

• Active student status both at the time of application and throughout the mobility period, 

• Hungarian citizenship (or an appropriate residence or settlement permit), 

• At least a B2-level complex language certificate in the language of the mobility (unless you are enrolled in an English-taught programme and the language of the mobility is also English). 

Please note: Separate rules apply to students receiving the Stipendium Hungaricum or Diaspora Scholarship. 

When and how can you apply? 

• Applications can be submitted continuously between 3 September 2026 and 30 June 2027. 

• The application must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the planned start of the mobility. (An exception applies to international case competitions held in September or October 2026.) 

• Applications must be submitted via Neptun under Administration / Applications / Requests, by completing the request entitled “E405 – Call for applicaton to support participation in short-term study mobility in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 2026/2027 academic year” 

What should you keep in mind before applying? 

• First come, first served: Applications are assessed in the order in which they are received, until the available funding has been exhausted – so we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible! 

• Documents you may need: 

• An acceptance letter from the host institution, 

• Approval from the programme director/course instructor (in the case of mobility without credit transfer), 

• Confirmation of an accepted abstract/presentation (in the case of a conference), 

• Proof of language proficiency, if required. 

Other important information 

• The 4-week submission deadline is strict, and there is no possibility to submit missing documents afterwards. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without substantive assessment. 

• You cannot apply for a mobility that has already started. The exception to this rule is international case competitions held in September/October 2026. 

• The scholarship may not cover all costs incurred during the mobility; you are responsible for covering any remaining expenses yourself.
