One of our students and several faculty members have received awards for their contributions to academic student work.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Following the 37th National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference (OTDK), the highest professional honors awarded by the National Council of Scientific Students’ Associations (OTDT) were once again announced. This year, the performance of Corvinus University of Budapest stood out once more, one of our students received the Pro Scientia Gold Medal, while four of our faculty members were awarded the Master Teacher Gold Medal.

Pro Scientia Gold Medal for the most outstanding students

The Pro Scientia Gold Medal is the highest honor granted to students by the OTDT. It recognizes not only the excellent work submitted to the OTDK, but also the student’s overall scientific activity, academic achievements, and professional excellence. The award is presented biennially, with only 3–5 students recognized in each section. On behalf of the Corvinus community, we warmly congratulate László Marcell Kiss, who was awarded the Pro Scientia Gold Medal in the Economics Section for his exceptional scientific performance.

Master Teacher Gold Medal for exemplary teaching and mentorship

The Master Teacher Gold Medal is awarded to educators and researchers who have supported student academic work through the Scientific Students’ Associations for at least a decade and have significantly contributed to academic mentoring and science organization.

In 2025, four distinguished faculty members from Corvinus received this honor:

  • Áron Török – Agricultural Sciences Section

  • Milán Csaba Badics – Economics Section

  • Melinda Jászberényi – Economics Section

  • Veronika Pelle – Social Sciences Section

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all awardees! Thank you for your dedicated work, which not only enhances the reputation of our university but also strengthens the scientific community of Corvinus.
