Alumni and Career Support Center Heads of Corvinus Give Joint Interview to Portfolio

Alumni community and targeted career support go hand in hand – Anna Gyarmati and Dr. Noémi Farkas-Hussey also spoke to the portal about their planned steps in international networking and career development.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Corvinus University is taking significant steps in international networking and career support, where alumni relations and career services are increasingly working together in a more structured way. The university applies an integrated alumni model to increase the proportion of alumni with whom it can maintain an active connection. It connects current students with Corvinus graduates already during their studies, while the Career Support Center provides personalized services to help them find jobs both in Hungary and abroad.

Plans include mapping and developing potential professional and personal connections, strengthening the alumni discount system — including a 30% tuition discount for English-language Master’s programs — and expanding the international alumni event series: after Zurich, Munich is next, followed by several other European cities in the spring. Portfolio also asked Anna Gyarmati, Head of Alumni, and Dr. Noémi Farkas-Hussey, Head of the Career Support Center, about these developments.

The full interview is available in Hungarian at this link.
