Current Mobility Opportunities for Doctoral Students

Short-term study mobility
The programme allows you to spend 2–30 days abroad as part of your doctoral studies. You can participate in a block course, summer school, study visit, professional event or study competition, as well as actively participate in a conference. Please note that conference attendance is only eligible for support if you actively contribute to its professional content, for example by giving a presentation or leading a workshop.
Who can apply?
Full-time students of the Corvinus Doctoral Schools can apply from the first semester of their doctoral studies, provided they have active student status both when submitting the application and throughout the mobility period. As a general rule, a minimum B2-level complex language examination in the working language of the mobility is required.
How much funding can you receive?
Depending on the destination country and the duration of your mobility, the scholarship ranges from HUF 10,000 to HUF 35,000 per day.
How can you apply?
Submit your application via Neptun under Administration → Applications → Requests with text field, using the E406 – Call for application to support participation in short-term doctoral study mobility in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 2026/2027 academic year request.
Application period: 8 October 2026 – 30 June 2027
Make sure to submit your application at least 4 weeks before the planned start of your mobility.

Long-term research mobility
If you would like to spend a longer period abroad working on your doctoral research, you can apply for a 60–150-day research mobility. The programme allows you to carry out research related to your doctoral studies and dissertation at a partner university or research centre abroad.
Who can apply?
Full-time students of the Corvinus Doctoral Schools can apply from the first completed semester of their doctoral programme, provided they have active student status when submitting their application and throughout the mobility period.
How much funding can you receive?
Depending on the destination country, the scholarship ranges from HUF 350,000 to HUF 400,000 per month.
How can you apply?
Submit your application via Neptun under Administration → Applications → Requests with text field, using the E407 – Participation in long-term research mobility for doctoral students in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 2026/2027 academic year request.
Application period: 28 September 2026 – 4 May 2027
Make sure to submit your application at least 8 weeks before the planned start of your mobility.
Applications for both mobility opportunities are accepted on a rolling basis until the available funding and places are exhausted, so it is worth submitting your application as early as possible.
