Vezetéstudomány / Budapest Management Review Journal Included in the Scopus Database
Scopus is one of the world’s leading abstract and citation databases, playing a key role in enhancing the international visibility of scholarly publications and tracking their citations. Scopus indexing represents an important milestone in the journal’s development and offers several benefits for its authors:
- the international visibility and discoverability of articles published in Vezetéstudomány / Budapest Management Review will significantly increase;
- articles will be able to reach a broader scholarly audience;
- citations to publications will be easier to track in the international database;
- the journal’s academic recognition and position, both in Hungary and internationally, will be further strengthened.
The indexing applies retrospectively: articles published in Vezetéstudomány / Budapest Management Review from 2022 onwards are already available on the Scopus platform. At the same time, it is important to note that inclusion in SCImago Journal & Country Rank is not an immediate consequence of Scopus indexing at this stage – the exact timing of this will depend on the availability of ranking data, and we therefore kindly ask for the patience of the readers and authors in this regard.
The editorial board continues to welcome high-quality, methodologically grounded manuscripts in Hungarian or English related to the fields of business, management, organisation studies. They encourage the authors to choose the internationally indexed Vezetéstudomány / Budapest Management Review journal as the publication venue for their latest research findings.
