Few women hold senior leadership positions — Telex interviewed Corvinus-SEED lecturer Anita Csoma

In the interview, the director of the Aspiring Women Leaders program explains how more women could be placed in leadership positions and what obstacles women may face as they advance in their careers.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Anita Csoma shares her experiences regarding the expectations associated with leadership roles, the importance of visibility, organisational culture, and the challenges of becoming a senior manager. The interview also raises some interesting points about how leadership can be learnt, why it is important to set boundaries and consciously build a network of relationships, and how diverse ways of thinking can contribute to better decision-making. The relevance of this discussion is underscored by a welcome milestone: the Aspiring Women Leaders programme was launched in 2023, and with this autumn’s course, more than fifty women have now taken part in it.
