The Head of Legal and Procurement Services at Corvinus received the 2026 Pro Futura Award

The Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, the maintainer of Corvinus University, established the Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini Award to recognise the work of those university citizens who have played an outstanding role in the renewal process of the institution and have made an exceptional contribution to the University’s reputation and future. The nominees were recommended by the University Senate, the Executive Commitee, and the Student Union.
In 2026, the Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini Award was presented to Zsuzsanna Borbás, Head of Legal and Procurement Services at Corvinus.
The award was presented on Friday, 4 September 2026, during the opening ceremony of the academic year, by Milán Gauder, President of the Board of Trustees of the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, which maintains the university.
Following her arrival in 2021, Zsuzsanna Borbás took over the responsibilities of the economic law and labor law areas, subsequently integrating procurement operations into the department’s scope in 2022. From the second half of 2024, she also took charge of higher education law and administration, successfully merging and completely restructuring the previously separate legal units in 2025. Her work has significantly contributed to streamlining internal operations and strengthening the institution’s reputation. The framework she developed continues to support the activities of both academic and service areas to a high standard and with great efficiency. Another notable professional achievement of hers was establishing the Organizational and Operational Provisions (OOP) on a new foundation in 2024. Beyond all this, she is a straightforward, honest, and firm person whose assertive communication enables her to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders across the institution.
We warmly congratulate her on this award!
