Invitation to the defence of the dissertation proposal of Dehua Xia “The role of sustainability in capital markets: Evidence from investor behavior, environmental disclosure, and stock liquidity“. 

The dissertation examines how investor behaviour, corporate sustainability practices and the functioning of capital markets are linked. It consists of three related empirical studies: the first analyses the relationship between individual investors’ online voice and corporate environmental disclosure, the second asks whether climate risk disclosure affects stock liquidity, and the third examines the entry of green investors and its relationship with stock liquidity.
