Blood donation at Corvinus on November 10

On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Corvinus will host a variety of health and wellness activities for its staff as part of Autumn Health Day. As a key component of the event, we are organizing a blood drive and warmly invite university students to participate.
- Date: Tuesday, 10 November 2026
- Time: 11:00–17:00
- Location: Dance Hall, Building C
What should you know before donating blood?
- General requirements: You must be in good general health and weigh at least 50 kg.
- Required documents: Personal ID card (or driving licence or passport), social security card (TAJ card) and address card.
- Preparation: Make sure to eat before donating blood and drink plenty of fluids.
- Age requirements: Blood donation is generally available to people aged 18–60. For regular donors, the upper age limit may be extended to 65, subject to an individual eligibility assessment.
- Between donations: At least 56 days must pass between two blood donations.
Your eligibility to donate blood will be assessed on-site before the donation.
Taking medication, previous medical procedures, illnesses or recent travel may affect your eligibility. Please make sure to inform the healthcare professionals on-site about any relevant circumstances. The final decision will always be based on the medical assessment carried out before donation.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible to donate blood, we recommend checking the blood donation requirements in advance.
Please note that the other programs of Autumn Health Day are exclusively available to university staff.
