Invited distinguished research fellows
During the next few months two acknowledged invited distinguished research fellows will join CIAS. Marcelo Royo Vela (from Spain) has arrived for three months at the end of October. Tamás Terlaky (US) will come in 2022 and stay from February until the end of June.Kapcsolódó posztok

Marcelo Royo Vela (University of Valencia) arrived in Budapest and started his research at CIAS in collaboration with the Institute of Marketing. His research project is on measuring the perception of heritage in tourist destinations and its effects on the tourist’s cognitive and affective response.
Tamás Terlaky (Lehigh University) will jointly work with the colleagues of CCOR. They will develop novel IPMs (Interior Point Methods) for complementarity and conic optimization problems: analyse their convergence, complexity, computational methodology and extensions to Quantum IPMs.
