Zsuzsanna Nagy is a member of the Open Science Advisory Board
Zsuzsanna Nagy, Director General of the University Library, was invited to participate in the work of the Open Science Advisory Board, which is attached to NKFIH.In October 2021, with the support of 11 organizations that dominate Hungarian scientific life, NKFIH published a position paper on open science. In doing so, Hungary joined the International Open Science Initiative.
The Open Science Advisory Board, made up of scientists and practitioners, played an important role in the preparation of the position paper.
One of the main objectives of the Advisory Board is to share up-to-date national and international information, news and “good practices” related to the practical expansion of open science, and to inform each other and the areas and institutes represented.
Another important task is to develop a methodology for providing information to the European Commission. Here, the members of the Board shall comment, discuss and propose any changes to the professional materials submitted.
