Apply between January 20 and February 3!
It is important that there is a two-stage application process, so you must mark the institutions by January 27th at 10:00 a.m, otherwise you cannot submit your application!
Application period for the 2025/2026 academic year: January 20, 2025 – Monday, February 03, 2025 3:00 p.m.
What does the two-stage application look like?
1. In the first step, you indicate in Neptun all the institutions, the subject area belonging to the institution and the expected date and duration of the start of the studies (with this, you indicate in which semester you wish to travel abroad e.g. September 1, 2025 or February 1, 2026 and e.g. 4 or 5 months) for which you would like to submit your application (order of preference). The period for marking the institutions and determining the final order of preference is: January 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – January 27, 2025, 10:00 a.m.
2. In the second step, based on the sequence established and finalized in the previous point, you can submit your application for part-time study abroad and the scholarship supporting part-time study at Neptun. The application submission period is January 28, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – February 3, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
The two activities above (designating institutions and determining the order of preference, as well as submitting an application) together represent the submission of an application corresponding to the call for applications.
There is no possibility to submit documents after the deadline (3rd of February).
*If the destination of your mobility is one of the top 250 foreign higher education institutions in the Times

The double degree programmes offer an excellent opportunity to study at a partner institution abroad in parallel with your studies at Corvinus, so you can earn two degrees at the same time!

Double Degree Programmes allow students to complete a training programme offered by a foreign partner institution in parallel with a training programme at their own university, and this way to obtain two degrees at a time. The programme usually takes less time than doing the two programmes separately at the two universities. Depending on the programme, you will spend certain semesters abroad, where you have to complete given subjects. This is a great opportunity to gain international experience and get to know other cultures.
Applications are submitted through NEPTUN. Once registered, students must submit all required documents and certificates. In January or February, a personal interview with the program coordinator is scheduled, during which eligibility is determined based on academic performance, language proficiency, and motivation.
Proof of language proficiency, and documentation of extracurricular activities (e.g., volunteering, competitions).
Pannonia scholarships are available for the semesters spent abroad. The Double Degree application is part of the mobility program application and students can apply also apply for funding at the same time, however admission to a Double Degree programme does not guarantee Pannonia funding.
Applications for the 2025/2026 academic year are accepted from January 20 to February 3.
The Double Degree is valuable for two main reasons. First, by the end of the program, you earn two diplomas, potentially within the same timeframe as completing only the Corvinus program. Additionally, companies are eager to hire recent graduates with international experience. This demonstrates that you have a high level of proficiency in a foreign language and are familiar with the economy, society, work environment, and culture of another country.
The Double Degree Programme has no extra cost. During the semesters spent abroad, you will maintain your active status at the Corvinus, too. Scholarship holders will not have to pay for the semesters spent abroad, either, and students attending fee-paying trainings will pay the Hungarian tuition fee, even if the fees are higher at Western-European universities.
Participating in a double degree program will not affect your tuition fee. You will continue paying the same amount to Corvinus even when you are spending a semester or two at the partner university. Scholarship-holders will not have to pay tuition at partner university either.
Absolutely, coordinators at the partner university will guide and support you throughout your studies there.
Yes. You can apply for the Double Degree during both your Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.
Minimum B2-level language proficiency is required, with a German language requirement for programs with the university of Passau, and an English requirement for other programs.
Under the Double Degree Programme, you will have to meet the same requirements as the students of the partner institution. You should expect more or less the same workload as you have at the Corvinus.
Students can apply for all currently announced DD programs in their first year of studies. It is specified by each program which semesters they have to spend at the partner university and which courses they have to enrol in. Both, bachelor and master students typically spend two semesters abroad. (There could be exceptions, for example KEDGE master program)
Following the completion of the Double Degree Programme, students will get two degrees of identical values, one from the Corvinus and one from the partner institution.
The GPA of minimum 3.0 is required for the application.
Yes. Depending on the agreement with the partner university, you will write your thesis either here, or abroad. The final exam is usually conducted by a joint committee.
The Double Degree training is based on the mutual recognition of the subjects at both universities. Consequently, if you fall into a delay, you cannot get the degree from the other university, either, until you finish both programmes.
If you are unable to continue your studies for any reason in the Double Degree Programme, but you still attend the training at one of the parties, that party will independently determine the amount and the way of payment of the tuition fee related to your training, based on the legal regulations in force in the given party’s jurisdiction, and that party will arrange for the production of the necessary documents.
In each Double Degree Programme, the Corvinus and the partner university will jointly work out an aligned syllabus, in which they will specify the courses to be taken. Credits obtained will be mutually recognised by both universities, and the two degrees will be issued based on that.
You usually have to collect 30 credits in a semester, so 60 in two semesters.
Generally, you are responsible for finding accommodation but the partner university will provide you with options.
This basically depends on the country. Visit this site for more information: https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/
This part of the application interface will not open before the 28th. In order to ensure that you have all the documents at your disposal when you start the application, you can already start the acquisition of the documents necessary to certify other activities (you can find the applicable templates HERE), as well as the preparation of certificates (such as TDK/OTDK results, competitions, language exam documents).
