What is the Corvinus Alumni Scholarship?
We have established the Corvinus Alumni Scholarship to create a bridge between our graduates and current students. It offers our alumni community the opportunity to give back, support outstanding talent, and actively contribute to the future of the university.*
The scholarship fund is financed entirely by donations from our alumni community, with the aim of supporting one or more exceptional students each academic year. Beyond financial benefits, the purpose of the scholarship is to build a stronger, more cohesive Corvinus community where past, present, and future students can inspire and support one another.
How does the scholarship work?
- From the accumulated fund, students can apply for a monthly scholarship of HUF 100,000 starting from autumn, awarded for a full academic year (10 months).
- The total funding for one student amounts to HUF 1,000,000.
- The scholarship can be awarded to as many students as there are blocks of one million forints collected.
- Any remaining fractional amount will not be lost: it will be carried over to increase the fund for the following academic year.
How can you support the initiative?
Any amount of your choice
There is no minimum limit for donations. You can contribute to the scholarship fund with the price of a coffee.
How to make your donation
You can currently send your donation via bank transfer. It is important that you include “Alumni Ösztöndíj” in the payment remarks/reference field (please note that Hungarian banks require the Hungarian term to clear the internal accounting smoothly).

*Please note that the institutional decision-making processes regarding the establishment of the scholarship are currently ongoing. In the unlikely event that approval is not granted by 30 June 2026, the University reserves the right to withdraw from its commitments regarding the scholarship, in which case it will compensate those who joined the scholarship programme.
