Horváth Dorka, Corvinus University alumna and founder and CEO of Bookr Kids, has spent the past ten years working to help children develop a love of reading. Following its experience in the Hungarian education market, the company has grown into an international success story: its Bookr Class English language learning software is now available in 30 countries and reaches an estimated 600,000–700,000 children worldwide.

Seventeen of the fifty women featured on Forbes’ 2026 list of the most influential Hungarian women are Corvinus alumnae, including the two ministers ranked first and third on the list: Anita Orbán, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Judit Lannert, Minister of Education and Child Affairs.

Not only has most of her career been connected to aviation, but so has one of her favorite hobbies. Ágnes Lammel is currently leading stakeholder management for Budapest Airport’s large-scale capacity expansion project, work that will have a significant impact on what Budapest’s airport will look like for decades to come. She recently graduated from the Corvinus Executive MBA program and spoke to us about her experience in the program and how it helped develop her leadership skills.

Choosing a specialisation, building a CV, preparing for job interviews and planning a career – these were all key topics in the six-week mentoring programme of the Bachelor’s programme in Business and Management. The initiative brought together 18 alumni mentors and 24 second-year students, who received personalised guidance on further studies and career opportunities.
