You can still apply for the Spotlight on Teaching 2026

Our goal is to highlight proven educational approaches that help students develop critical thinking skills, interpret ethical dilemmas, understand different perspectives, and consciously weigh social and environmental impacts.

Entries are welcome from any field of study and at any level of education, and submissions may include not only full courses but also shorter classroom activities, innovative assessment methods, or project assignments. The 10 winning best practices will each receive a gross prize of 890,000 HUF! 

Proposals may be submitted in three main categories: 

  1. the integration of ERS criteria into the curriculum (“What do we teach?”), 
  2. methods that promote engaging and active learning (“How do we teach?”), 
  3. and the development of students’ competencies and attitudes (“What do students become?”). 

The call for proposals is open to all faculty members, Ph.D. students, adjunct instructors, and university members involved in educational activities. Both individual and joint proposals may be submitted. Proposals may be submitted in either Hungarian or English. 

Application deadline: 15 September 2026, 12:00 

Application materials should be sent to ctl@uni-corvinus.hu with the subject “Spotlight on Teaching 2026.”
