VII. Tisza Lake PET Cup – The Corvinus Library Once Again Supports the Fight for Clean Waters
For the third year in a row, the Corvinus Library has been a devoted supporter of Hungarian environmental initiatives to protect the cleanliness of our waters.
During this year’s waste collection campaign held at Lake Tisza, participants of the PET Cup collected 1,746 bags of waste, which—together with larger items such as barrels and refrigerators—amounted to a total of 10.7 tons of removed pollution.
With the support of Corvinus Library, the initiative once again delivered tangible results in protecting the environment. The project demonstrates that responsibility for sustainability is a shared commitment, and that institutions have an important role to play in advancing environmental protection.
Corvinus Library extends its thanks to the PET Cup for the opportunity to collaborate and expresses its appreciation for the outstanding results achieved through this initiative.
