Triple Corvinus Success at the national final of the CFA Research Challenge

The 3–5 member student teams were tasked with conducting a comprehensive fundamental equity analysis of Wizz Air. Based on the written reports, all three Corvinus teams that submitted analyses advanced to the national final, an outstanding achievement in itself. As a result of the final round, our students secured first, second and fourth place.
The winning team consisted of Zineb Filali, Zoltán Gellért Fehér, Ágoston Horváth and Nándor Farkas. All three teams were coached by Péter Juhász, PhD, CFA, habilitated Associate Professor.
The top-performing teams were awarded the prestigious Kochmeister Prize by the Budapesti Értéktőzsde. With this victory, the winning Sigma Team qualified for the sub-regional round taking place in March, from where they may advance all the way to the world final in Hong Kong.
