Teacher of the Year Award 2026 – Vote for Your Favorite Lecturers!
For the second time, the Hallgatói Önkormányzatok Országos Konferenciája (HÖOK) is organizing the Teacher of the Year Award, recognizing lecturers who are true role models for students through their personal attitude, professional excellence, or inspiring teaching approach.
Now is your chance to nominate and support the lecturers who made the biggest impact on your academic journey.
Nominations and voting are open until 4th of March.
Voting takes place via the universum.hu mobile application, where each vote counts with a triple multiplier, giving even greater weight to your support. The more students nominate the same lecturer, the better their chances – so it’s worth spreading the word.
Awards are granted in three categories, with universities grouped by student population size to ensure fair competition across institutions.
From the Top 3×3 lecturers, a Public Choice Winner will be selected in early summer, receiving an audience award of HUF 1,000,000.
