The Corvinus University of Budapest is awarding research grants based on the grant agreement contract that was signed with the Hungarian Competition Authority.

The grant aims at supporting research in microeconomics, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics. Applicants are expected to request grants to fund new research projects, however ongoing research projects may also be eligible if no other financial support was received and the results have not yet been published.
summarize their research findings preferably in a paper prepared for publication (manuscript or working paper),
present the research results at the GVH staff meeting scheduled for the end of May 2023.
Grant amounts:
Gross HUF 800,000 / person salary
Eligibility criteria:
The grant is open to active BCE doctoral students and doctoral candidates, and
to young researchers and lecturers employed by BCE who obtained their PhD after September 1, 2017.
Method and conditions of using the grant:
Salary will be disbursed after successfully fulfilling the application requirements.
Documents to be submitted for application:
Completed and signed application form.
A two-page research plan about the research question, methodology, data source, expected schedule, and research history.
Publication list, preferably printed from the MTMT website.
The application documents should be sent electronically to Zsuzsanna Bata, zsuzsanna.bata@uni-corvinus.hu, and a copy containing the signed form must be handed in at office C.623 before the submission deadline. Applications are accepted both in Hungarian or in English. The evaluation of the applications will be done by independent judges asked by the GVH.
Deadlines
Submission deadline: 7 December 2022 noon
Decision deadline: 15 December 2022 noon
Submission of the final report on the performance of the tasks undertaken by the applicant (together with additional documents) April 30, 2023 noon.
