This year, the organizers accepted entries from 14 teams. All matches were played on the indoor field at the Corvinus SportCenter on the Gellért Campus. As in previous years, the organizers strove to ensure that every participating team could play as many matches as possible. This helped enhance the playing experience. The teams played a round-robin tournament within their groups, and then the top 8 teams advanced to a single-elimination bracket. From there on, every match ended with the winner advancing, while the losing team was eliminated from the competition.
Our university is home to many skilled soccer players who have played for various clubs across the country since childhood. Many of them attended soccer academies, and some continued to play in various leagues to this day. Those who attended the event were treated to very high-quality matches, with some truly spectacular play on display. The pace was also tremendous. Everyone wanted to win, so the atmosphere got heated at times, but every participant enjoyed the game. The final standings were decided in hard-fought matches. The teams played at a very fast pace, and we saw some outstanding individual performances. The final standings were decided in exciting, twist-filled, and close matches!
