Call for Applications for Two Vice-Rector Positions at Corvinus

The University has issued calls for applications for the following two Vice-Rector positions. 

Vice-Rector for Academic Programmes 

György Lajos Szabó, former Vice-Rector for Academic Programmes, resigned from his leadership position effective at the end of the 2025/2026 academic year; and shall soon depart Corvinus. Until the successful conclusion of the application process, the duties will be performed by Zoltán Oszkár Szántó, Dean of the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS), as Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Programmes.

Vice-Rector for Student Affairs  

The position of Vice-Rector for Student Affairs was created by the University at the end of 2024 to ensure that student interests are represented in executive management. At that time, Judit Nagy was appointed to the position. As her mandate is coming to an end, the University has issued an open call for applications to fill this position, which is unique both in the history of Corvinus and in Hungarian higher education.
