The Corvinus men’s volleyball team has once again proven its strength
At the 2026 MEFOB final weekend, the men’s volleyball team of Corvinus University of Budapest won the bronze medal match against DEAC 3–1, securing yet another medal in the national university championship!
With great heart, disciplined play, and true team unity, the squad brought home the bronze medal as an excellent finish to an exceptionally strong season.
In the semifinals, the team narrowly lost a tightly contested, high-level match against Miskolc, where small details made the difference. However, the game clearly showed that Corvinus belongs among the best and is capable of competing with anyone. This defeat did not break them—it fueled them. They entered the bronze medal match determined to show where they belong. In the bronze match, everything came together, and in key moments the team demonstrated why it has long been among the elite of Hungarian university volleyball.
