Corvinus’ team achieved outstanding success at the international finals of the Duna Cup pitch competition

At the international final of the Danube Cup pitch competition held in Vienna, the TraceQ team achieved third place.

The Corvinus team achieved an outstanding result at the international finals of the Danube Cup pitch competition: the TraceQ team took third place in the prestigious competition. The final was held on 18 May 2026 in Vienna, as part of the ViennaUP – Entrepreneurship Avenue event series. 

Eleven teams from leading universities in countries along the Danube advanced to the international finals: Corvinus University of Budapest, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, University of Belgrade, Johannes Kepler University Linz, University of Passau, Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, University of Regensburg, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Széchenyi István University, University of Economics in Bratislava, Izmail State University. 

Dr. Péter Fehér, Director of International Alliances at Corvinus, also delivered a speech at the event’s opening ceremony. 

Corvinus was represented by two teams in the finals: TraceQ (János Pál, Kamila Amangeldi, Arya Chatterjee, Bexlan Berikovich Zinullayev) and HomeLab (Ferenc Csongor Balázs, Alexa Iachim, Dalma Luca Ádám, Olzhas Zhakhanger, Rafael Grosu).  

It is a particular joy that the TraceQ team secured a podium finish, while both teams represented the university’s reputation at a high level in the international field!
