The Eco-Trail – Treasure Hunt for Garden Explorers: Discover the Rain Gardens of Gellért Campus!

Landscape architect Veronika Pápai, responsible for the garden’s renewal, will share its secrets: native trees, birdhouses, pollinator-friendly meadows, green roofs and, of course, rain gardens.
Rain gardens will be in the spotlight this month, as September’s Sustainability Theme of the Month focuses on water and wetlands.
Date & Time: Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 17:00 – 17:45
Venue: Corvinus University, Gellért Campus (Budapest, Ménesi út 5, 1118) – meeting point at the main entrance, in front of the Sports Center
Language: Hungarian & English
Guest speaker: Veronika Pápai, landscape architect
After the garden tour, you are invited to the Hungarian-language Ecofilm Club event on campus from 6:00 p.m. The first screening will be Balázs Szendőfi’s 63-minute documentary Sződ-rákosi Marsh Traces, followed by a discussion with the filmmaker.
