On 7 November 2026, from 10.00 am, third-year Communication and Media Studies students at Corvinus University are inviting families to a special event! Mesenap (Story Day) will focus on a truly unique aspect of media-aware parenting: the power of stories and fairy tales.

IDate: 7 November 2026, 10:00—14:00
Venue: ArtBuda Alkotóműhely, 1028 Budapest, Kertváros u. 23.
Language: Hungarian
Fairy tales not only provide screen-free entertainment, but also have a magnificent effect in healing and development. Regular story-reading has a positive impact on emotional resilience and the development of emotional intelligence. It helps children process the events of everyday life, but even for adults, a single story can have a miraculous power.
On the Kuckó Krónikák Mesenap we’ll show how stories give rise to courage!
What can the participating children and their parents experience at Mesenap?
- Live storytelling with Johanna Tóth – A shared adventure through the world of the story Örömalma.
- Painting experiences with Orsi Barabássy – A creative workshop to capture experiences.
- A discussion with experts from Mindset Psychology (with Dorottya Zele and Orsolya Szabó) – Advice and small-group discussions on the role of stories in child-rearing and media-aware parenting.
- In addition to the activities, the Kuckó Krónikák team has prepared a range of conversation-based games, refreshments and goody bags for all participants.
The event is free, but registration is required! Those interested can register via the link provided in the Facebook event or by scanning the QR code shown on the flyer!
The event is primarily aimed at children aged 3–10 and their parents.
