International Green Building Week kick-off
Date: Monday, September 8, 2025, 9:00 a.m.
Location: Corvinus University of Budapest, Gellért Campus Tower K, Rooftop Café, Budapest, XI., Mányoki út 9.
This year, the Hungarian Green Building Council (HuGBC) is once again coordinating the Hungarian events of International Green Building Week, organized by the World Green Building Council (WGBC).
The week, which offers building tours and thematic workshops, will be officially opened at Corvinus University’s Gellért Campus, which is an outstanding example of environmentally conscious design, development, and operation.
The planned program:

Welcome address – Dr. Éva Fülöpné Hegedűs, Executive Secretary of HuGBC, and Gábor Szarvas, President of HuGBC

Launch of International Green Building Week 2025 – Regő Lánszki, State Secretary for Architecture at the Ministry of Construction and Transport, Chief Architect of Hungary

The Gellért Campus as a green building pilot project – Tibor Misovicz, Secretary of the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation (MUC)
