The ANETI Lab of CIAS held its first event on 13 September. We are particularly thrilled to inform you that the first meeting of this academic year will be held in-person. It’s a great opportunity to connect face-to-face and engage in lively discussions.
We are pleased to have Vito Latora as our first speaker. Prof. Latora will present his work on how networks affect innovation and success.
Vito Latora is Professor of applied mathematics, Chair of complex systems, and Head of the Complex Systems and Networks Research Group in the School of Mathematical Sciences of the Queen Mary University of London. He is also a Professor of physics at the University of Catania and External Faculty of the Complexity Hub Vienna. He is the coauthor of more than 200 scientific publications, including papers in Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, PNAS, Nature Human Behaviour, Science Advances and Physics Reports. His research interests include structure and dynamics of complex networks, multiplex networks, temporal networks, and higher-order networks. He is interested in applications of network science to study innovative ecosystems and to understand the social and neural aspects of human creativity.
We look forward to your participation and to another stimulating series of ANETI Seminars.
