The film tells the powerful story of the historic women’s strike of 1975, when 90% of Icelandic women stopped working, both in paid employment and in unpaid domestic labour, bringing the country to a standstill. Through archival footage and personal testimonies, the documentary highlights how this collective action became a turning point in the struggle for gender equality. The film was also featured at the Budapest Documentary Film Festival.
