EduID – New way of remote access for databases
Besides VPN, EduID-technology can also be used for accessing subscribed library databases remotely.
After Corvinus University joined the Hungarian EduID Federation, a new method of remote access has become available. Formerly, VPN served as the method of remote access in case of subscribed databases, from now on, also EduID-technology can be used. The main difference between VPN and EduID-technology is that VPN requires identification before searching, while EduID-identification can be made during the search process. Identification at EduID works with CUSMAN-credentials after selecting Corvinus University on the different platforms.
