The first session featured the Power, Policy, and Practice (PPP) Working Group, marking the very first research group event initiated within ISPS. It proved to be a highly successful and inspiring start.

Jacob Thomas presented his paper “What Ties Individuals to a Society? How (Im)mobility Capital Stratifies International Legal Mobility and Migration.” The presentation generated many valuable comments and contributions from colleagues. Building on this positive beginning, the working group is now planning further sessions.
