According to information from EISz, the quotas for open-access publications allocated under the “read & publish” contracts for 2026 have been fully utilized for fully open-access (fully OA) journals published by Springer. However, publication opportunities are still available in hybrid journals. Additionally, this year’s discounts for journals published by Elsevier and Taylor & Francis have also been exhausted.

The quotas will be available again in 2027.
