University students drink more alcohol, use more drugs, but smoke less than the average for both secondary school students and the 18-34 year olds, according to a recent representative survey conducted by researchers at Corvinus University of Budapest.

After three years of work, the Corvinus Gellért Campus officially opened its doors on 22 February. In addition to the symbolic handing over of keys, we prepared numerous student and staff member programmes. The many community programmes have proven that the community spaces of the campus are needed and can forge a community.

The most outstanding lecturers at Corvinus for the autumn semester were revealed based on student votes.

Áron József Borda is a real veteran, having also obtained his Bachelor's degree at Corvinus. He wants to prove that agriculture and agricultural economics have a place in a university of economics.

Barnabás Gosztonyi was able to stand on the podium in the French Alps, the competition was held in slalom and giant slalom.

Selected senior Corvinus students will spend four months learning about the culture and daily life of bank managers under the guidance of middle-level and senior managers.  

The February Research Week presented a rich and varied program for participants, marking the eighth iteration of this event organized by the Research Management from the 5th to the 9th of February 2024.
