My name is Sándor Takács, PhD, I am the professional director of this program at the Corvinus University of Budapest. As a professor at the Department of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Development, I strongly believe that in the current turbulent and unpredictable environment (digitalization, epidemics, environmental crisis, and international conflicts) coaching is becoming increasingly important in the lives of company executives and managers to plan, implement and adapt to these changes. The support of internal (and external) coaches and the practice of coaching can provide the tools, techniques, mindsets and values necessary to meet the challenges facing their businesses.
In the past three years we have been running the Hungarian version of this program together with our ICF accredited partner organisation, Business Coach Ltd., for more than 200 managers, HR specialists and coaches, whose aim was to develop their coaching skills in business organisations. Many of them decided to qualify for the ICF accreditation process, to be better able to enter international markets. Now we have decided to open for the international market of coach-training and invite participants from all over the Globe.
The experience of the program participants so far has shown that organisations and the people who make them up are equally interested in values such as sustainability, inclusion and partnership. I am convinced that the cooperation of university scholars, external coaches, organisational development consultants and students (including executives, HR professionals and coaches) is an excellent opportunity to practice and live up to these values. I hope that we will meet soon in person on the 2,5 days kick-off program!
