Bruno van Pottelsberghe Gives Interview to Portfolio on the Future of Corvinus
Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest, gave an in-depth interview to Portfolio about the University’s possible future governance model and the transformation of Hungarian higher education.
In the interview, the Rector discusses in detail the hybrid governance model he has proposed to the Corvinus community, as well as the balance between academic autonomy and strategic management, and the importance of preserving the University’s international competitiveness. He also explains which European examples inspired the proposal, how he sees Corvinus’s position in the international higher education landscape, and why the University is in an exceptionally advantageous position thanks to its stable financial foundations.
