In line with Stanford University’s global initiative, the Women in Data Science Budapest (WiDS Budapest) event will take place on October 9 at Corvinus University of Budapest’s Gellért Campus. 

The program will feature leading women speakers from Hungary’s data science community, representing both academia and business. During the panel discussion, participants will have the opportunity to ask internationally recognized experts—such as Petra Viola (Engineering Director, Google) and Dr. Anikó Hannák (Professor of Social Computing, University of Zurich)—about the ethical use of artificial intelligence. 

A key goal of the event is to provide junior data scientists and interested university students with the chance to meet accomplished female researchers and analysts, learn about different professional career paths, and build valuable connections.
