The Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) is pleased to invite you to the Game Theory, Optimization and Non-linear Dynamics Conference in Memory of Ferenc Szidarovszky. The conference was first held at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2025, bringing together former colleagues, collaborators and researchers to commemorate Ferenc Szidarovszky and his contributions to a wide range of academic fields. 

From 1986, he worked at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Karl Marx University of Economics (now Corvinus). Since 1990, he has been a Professor in the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona, USA. From 2007 to 2013, he was a Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Pécs, Hungary. In retirement, he continued his teaching activities as an emeritus professor at the Corvinus University. The event is dedicated to honouring Szidar’s life and academic work.
